David Villa and Victor valdez's admirers saw their dreams of signing the two FC Barcelona players came to a shock dissappointment after the club's president,Sandro Rossel announced their plans of keeping them for another season.Rossel was speaking to the press during the unveiling of the club's future vision of 2013/1014 season.

'Until it is otherwise the case,David Villa remains a Barcelona player and our desire is that he will remain saw until next season'Rossel highlighted.Villa,31 years old played 28 matches for the club last season starting only 17 and scoring in ten occassions.His contract is due to end in 2014.Club's like Arsenal and Tottenhum Hotspurs will have to shift their focus on another player if this plan is withheld by the club. 

During the press conference,Rossel also assured their fans that Victor valdes will stay with the club for the next season amid speculations of his exit,thus raising concerns on the possibilities of buying another goalkeeper as revieled in their early plans.

With Neymar in,and Villa and Valdes staying,the major focus of the club is to buy a natural defender to boost their defence,possibly Thiago Silva whom the president complained of his highly rated wage as attempts of pursuing him look unlikely.Lets wait and see what the club decides next.
